Overall, we had a good stay. The space was exactly as described, very clean, and the hosts were friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout our trip. The location was convenient, and we appreciated how easy the parking was for our group. We loved walking down to the water and the many bars and restaurants in town. A few things to be aware of: the apartment is on the third floor with no elevator, and the stairwell is fairly worn and may feel a bit sketchy at first. However, we never once felt unsafe. There is no central A/C, so the window units struggled to keep the apartment cool during the summer heatwave. Overall, if you're looking for a clean place in a great location with easy parking and responsive hosts, this is a solid option. Just be prepared for the stairs and the older building characteristics.

This was an awesome place! Waking up on the lake was incredible. There was a family of geese with a gosling that my toddler got to watch first thing in the morning. We checked for the geese every day. We watched boats and jet skis, looked at the birds, walked the neighborhood, and slept super peacefully every night. We definitely appreciated the included bug zappers at night! Nothing bit us, but there were tons of tiny moths and midges that would come in if you opened the door at night. It totally makes sense, being on the lake and all! (My toddler and I had fun looking at the moths anyway). The shower had great pressure and the laundry amenities were easy to use. Jeremy was very responsive and easy to get ahold of. Thank you, Jeremy!

Recommend without reservation. Close to Newport, walk to waterfront, restaurants and bars in the water. View from front porch with rocking chairs. Pretty hardwood floors, modernized but left charm! Good value. Host was responsive and helpful. Washer dryer and dishwasher and great speaker for music to get ready for a wedding!

We had a fantastic 3-night stay at the Lake House in Coventry and so glad we found this renovated gem on Johnson’s Pond. The home was impeccably clean and very spacious for 2 people. The weather was quite warm, but the bedroom A/C unit and available fans kept us cool enough. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, especially when the sun was setting, watching the watercraft on the pond. The house binder had plenty of local “things to do” for each season. The hosts provided plenty of communication/information. We would love to stay again on our next trip back home!

I really enjoyed my week-long stay here during the off-season! The hosts were wonderful — super nice, helpful, and very responsive the whole time. The place was clean and cozy, with everything essential I needed. It was so quiet and peaceful, and I loved falling asleep to the sound of the ocean waves. I was so impressed with this Airbnb—from the host’s prompt communication to the ideal location and overall experience. There was so much to do nearby, whether it was walking or running on the bike path, trying excellent local restaurants, spending time at the brewery, or letting the pups run at the dog park. Everything was right around the corner, which made the stay incredibly convenient. It was also very easy to access the highway, which made day trips and little adventures beyond Peacedale-Wakefield simple and stress-free. The space itself was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay. It was cute, welcoming, and had all the essentials to make settling in easy. One of the best parts was how quiet and friendly the neighborhood felt. I felt comfortable coming and going, and it made the whole stay feel even more relaxing. Jeremy and staff were AMAZING HOSTS!! Beautiful, Clean and well equipped Place. Quite impressed. Only downside, inconvenience but not bad and handled - was the AC unit in the living room, drained often and split on the floor near the TV. We just used the mop bucket to collect and toss it. The Toilette, often backed up, plunged often. (Did not put anything in the toilette). Nothing serious, that I couldn't deal with and let Jeremy know and Maintenance for the future. But it was GREAT Stay, and I LOVE ...Mactan Newtown and also looking to invest there when the Positano is completed. Jeremy and staff were great at responding within 5 hrs or so.

Great place right on the water. Very walkable to restaurants, coffee shop, and liquor store. All the places the locals recommended were within a few blocks of the house. Great views! Portsmouth is a much better alternative to a Newport. We felt right at home with the friendly locals. We will definitely stay again.

Loved the location it was right in the middle between all the activities we had planned with our little family.  The house is clean and have all the things you need if you decided to cook. Also has a very amazing and relaxing ocean view from the porch and lastly you will definitely enjoy the hot tub . Definitely I recommend Jeremy’s place. Our family loved it 🥰 ohhh I almost forgot Jeremy is always on top when it comes to communication.  😊

Nestled on the top floor, this bright and inviting apartment is just steps from Bristol Harbor Beach and an easy walk to downtown shops, cafés, restaurants, and waterfront attractions. The unit is in a great location and walkable to downtown and Jeremy is very responsive host. Unfortunately we were there during the heat wave and the unit only has window units, so the apartment was at times very hot.

I do not recommend this listing. Upon arrival, there was a police notice on the front door serving legal papers to an individual whose name was also listed on the unit mailbox. A quick Google search raised additional concerns about safety. There were also significant security issues. The building's front door did not lock, and after I accidentally locked myself out, I was charged a $150 locksmith fee. While I was at my sister's wedding, the locksmith left the doors unlocked and open as the solution. Despite repeated requests for updates, the host was unable to tell me the status of the locks, leaving me to return late at night without knowing what I would find. The host also sent a contractor to the unit without prior approval while we were getting ready for the wedding. In addition, there was a noticeable odor of pet urine and stale cigarette smoke throughout the stay. The host was generally responsive to messages, but the parking instructions could be clearer.

We were genuinely surprised to read this review, especially given that our communications during your stay indicated that you were enjoying the property and did not raise most of these concerns with us at the time. To clarify, the notice on the front door was addressed to a former tenant prior to our management of the property. This was explained when it was brought to our attention and had no connection to the current property operations, ownership, or guest safety. The statement regarding security is also misleading. The lockout occurred after your keys were locked inside the unit, requiring an emergency locksmith visit. We coordinated assistance as quickly as possible to help restore access. We kept you updated and informed. Any charges associated with that service were a direct result of the emergency lockout situation. Regarding the maintenance visit, we only arranged for a technician to stop by after being informed that the toilet seat was loose. Our intention was simply to address the issue promptly and ensure everything was functioning properly. We find it disappointing that concerns such as odors, security issues, or other significant problems were not communicated to us during your stay, as they were not mentioned in our conversations. Had they been raised, we would have had the opportunity to investigate them immediately. We also believe it is important for future guests to know that this review was left after we were required to charge the guest for an emergency locksmith service resulting from a guest-caused lockout. Despite multiple attempts to communicate regarding this charge, we received no response and were ultimately required to escalate the matter through Airbnb. Given the positive nature of our communications during the stay and the timing of this review, we believe future guests should consider that context when reading these comments. We strive to provide responsive service and accurate listings, and we encourage future guests to review our many other reviews, which better reflect the experience most guests have at the property.

Jeremy was a great host. Very communicative and helpful. The actual listing was in a very rough apartment building and was pretty dirty until the actual unit. The unit was what was pictured, just worth noting it had some pretty uneven flooring and small bathroom.

You can't beat this location!  Walk to many shops, restaurants, and water views.  We stayed here to run the Newport Half Marathon, and it was an easy 30-minute drive to Newport as well.  I echo what other reviewers have said about the building being old, but the apartment was clean, had a fully equipped kitchen,  and comfortable beds.
